Motorists are reminded that spaces under footbridges are not parking spaces and could not be used as such.
MANILA — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) calls the attention of motor vehicle owners whose vehicles are seen parked under footbridges and similar public spaces.
Its Task Force Special Operations has tied up with local government units in Metro Manila to crack down on illegally parked vehicles.
Owners of vehicles parked along sidewalks or under footbridges will be issued traffic citation tickets, says the MMDA.
“Illegally parked cars obstruct the flow of traffic along thoroughfares,” it says. (RA/The MiNT)
