Pacquiao’s plane makes emergency landing in Japan

    On his way to Los Angeles to train and prepare for his upcoming fight against American boxer Errol Spence Jr, Senator Emmanuel Pacquiao departed at 9 PM last night.

    The plane had to land at Haneda Airport in Japan for some medical emergency.


    MANILA – The plane with Senator Pacquiao on a night flight to Los Angeles made an emergency landing at Haneda Airport. One of the passengers needed medical attention, says Pacquiao’s lawyer, Tom Falgui, who was also onboard the same flight.

    The Philippine Airlines confirmed the incident on Sunday in a statement: We confirm that flight PR102 MNL to LAX, which departed Manila at 9 PM July 3, diverted to Haneda to address a medical emergency. The plane landed at Haneda Airport at 3:36 AM (local time HND).

    “The medical emergency was addressed after medical personnel in HND entered the airplane and provided the medical support.

    “The flight returned to Manila and will depart anew at 2 p.m. today (July 4) for LAX.”   (LO/The MiNT)
