With just 58,870 people remaining to be fully vaccinated in the city, Manila is one step closer to obtaining herd immunity.
MANILA, Philippines — The city’s target population is 1,351,487 people, with 95.64 percent of them already immunized against Covid-19.
The city has already surpassed the Department of Health’s goal of persons receiving their initial doses. It has already achieved 107.22 percent of the agency’s target.
As of 13 November, the city had a total of 1,292,617 people completely vaccinated against the virus, with an additional 50,000 jabs on children who are on their first doses.
According to the most recent data, Manila had 271 active COVID-19 cases as of November 14th. (HMP/The MiNT)
