According to LTO 7 Director Victor Emmanuel Caindec, the license plates available for walk-ins are for four-wheel vehicles registered om 2015 and 2016, including motorcycles registered in January and February of 2016 and January to April of 2018.
A photocopy of the owner’s official receipt and certficate of registration (ORCR) is needed in claiming license plates.
Appointment will be needed for those not included in the aforementioned dates.
Meanwhile, motorists could face additional penalties if they fail to claim their plates by December.
“For those vehicles covered in the years that already have plates, if they are apprehended by our personnel, we will charge them accordingly for not picking up their plates,” said Mr Caindec. (RA/The MiNT)
