Mabining Mabini: A webinar on Mabini’s love and life

TANAUAN — The Museo ni Apolinario Mabini will host the webinar entitled “Mabining Mabini (Mabini, Romantic)” at 10am on the 16th of July, in line with the hero’s upcoming 157th birth anniversary on the 23rd. It will be done over Facebook Live on their event’s official page.

This webinar about the “Brains of the Revolution” will be presented by Ian Christopher Alfonso, a Senior History Researcher at the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP). The webinar will be centered around Mabini’s love, connecting his achievements and contributions to the loves of his life and to his hometown. The organizers aim for the participants to “have a broader and deeper understanding about the love that Mabini has offered for his family, the town and the next generation”.

For an even more immersive celebration of Mabini’s birth anniversary, everyone is free to visit The Museo ni Apolinario Mabini virtually through this video tour, which was made in light of the pandemic’s restrictions. One of the biggest museums under the NHCP, the Museo ni Apolinario Mabini was built in Mabini’s hometown, Tanauan, Batangas. Artifacts and exhibits of his life and deeds are placed on display for the viewing public.

The Museo ni Apolinario Mabini is supported by the City Government of Tanauan. (RF/The MiNT)
