The government has scheduled a three-day vaccination drive, which falls on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday a week from now.
The government made it clear that only 30 November is a regular holiday when the nation commemorates national hero Andres Bonifacio’s birthday.
MANILA, Philippines — Presidential spokesperson Karlo Nograles reiterated that 29 November and 01 December are special working days, not holidays.
The three-day vaccination targets to cover 15 million individuals who will be administered COVID-19 shots.
Dubbed ‘Bayanihan, Bakunahan’, the vaccine drive coincides with the celebration of Bonifacio’s life.
Part of the celebration is that schools, gymnasiums, fast food chains, malls, and workplaces nationwide will be transformed into vaccination sites to make sure that all vaccinees will be covered.
Meanwhile, the government is seeking 160,000 volunteers to assist on the said occasion. (RA/The MiNT)
