120 houses in Quezon City smoldered

    At least 120 residences were destroyed in G Araneta Avenue, Barangay Manresa in Quezon City on Monday when a fire broke out according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

    Manila, Philippines — The Bureau of Fire Protection Public Information Office said that the fire was raised to first alarm at 1:12 p.m., and was declared under control by Chief Inspector Jessie James Samaniego by 2:02 p.m.

    Firefighters declared the fire out by 2:30 p.m., leaving 120 houses that were burned and 330 individuals affected.

    The cause of the fire is still under investigation. (JE/The MiNT)
